Arusha to Tarangire National Park

On arrival you will be picked from your hotel and be transferred to Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. After your picnic lunch you will continue with your game drive till evening when you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Tarangire national park is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the center of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. The park also host a number of rare species including Eland, Oryx, Kudu and Gerenuk.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After your breakfast you will be transferred by road to the Serengeti national park passing through the Ngorongoro conservation area arriving in good time for a delicious lunch. After lunch you will head to Seronera area which is the central park area and one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. You will continue with your game drives in search of the big five till late in the evening when you return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast and with your packed lunch boxes, you will begin a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. You will spend the day moving around different habitats in search of animals and bird species. Our able guides will take you through each and every detail regarding the magical Serengeti plains. Sit back, be alert and capture every moment. Return back to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti national park in Tanzania covers an area of 14,763 square kilometers and has a range of different habitats including open grasslands, marshes, forests and kopjes. Over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit the park. Join us on a safari and explore the endless Serengeti plains.

  • Serengeti Hot Air Balloon ride; nothing is more spectacular than launching at sunrise and effortlessly floating in the air over and above the Mara plains.
  • Visit a local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle; the Masai are famous for their bravery, as they have co-existed with the animals over the years.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will leave Serengeti and be transferred by road to Ngorongoro Crater, on arrival we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before embarking for an afternoon game drive. You will then return to your lodge late in the evening for dinner and overnight.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard.

Ngorongoro to Arusha

After your breakfast you will leave for Arusha. Upon arrival you will settle down for a sumptuous lunch and then after lunch you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to the next destination. This marks the end of your 5 Days Tanzania safari with Kidamat.
