Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After your breakfast you will leave Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park. On arrival, you will head to the park for your game drives till lunch time. You will be transferred to your lodge for hot lunch. After lunch you will return back to the park for afternoon game drives. Continue with your game drives till evening when you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara is famous for its diverse collection of wildlife including elephants, the world famous tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, and impalas call this park home and they can be spotted grazing in the acacia woodlands. Baboons and monkeys can also be seen in the forests inside the national park.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti national park passing through the Ngorongoro conservation area arriving in good time for lunch. After lunch you will head to Seronera area which is the central park area and one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. You will continue with your game drives in search of the big five till late in the evening when you return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast and with your packed lunch boxes, you will begin a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. You will spend the day moving around different habitats in search of animals and bird species. Our able guides will take you through each and every detail regarding the magical Serengeti plains. Sit back, be alert and capture every moment. Return back to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti national park in Tanzania covers an area of 14,763 square kilometers and has a range of different habitats including open grasslands, marshes, forests and kopjes. Over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit the park. Join us on a safari and explore the endless Serengeti plains.

  • Serengeti Hot Air Balloon ride; nothing is more spectacular than launching at sunrise and effortlessly floating in the air over and above the Mara plains.
  • Visit a local Masai village to see their nomadic lifestyle; the Masai are famous for their bravery, as they have co-existed with the animals over the years.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast you will leave Serengeti and be transferred by road to Ngorongoro conservation area. You will have a stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. Continue to your lodge arriving in good time for lunch. After lunch you will have a free afternoon. You can utilize the afternoon in optional activities such as village visits, coffee farm visits or bike ride. You will later settle down in the evening for dinner and overnight.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard.

Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast we depart for Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will settle down for a well-deserved lunch. After lunch we do an afternoon game drive till later in the evening when you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

The park is situated on the Great Rift Valley floor and its natural vegetation mainly consists of acacia woodland and giant African baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. This park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. It is also home to three rare species of animals – the greater kudu, the fringed-eared oryx as well as ashy starlings.

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

After your breakfast you will leave for Arusha. Upon arrival you will settle down for a sumptuous lunch and then after lunch you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to the next destination. This marks the end of your 7 days northern Tanzania wildlife safari with Kidamat.
